Spring Retina Update
For more than a half of century, the Retina Research & Development Foundation (RRDF) has known the importance of providing education to the eye care community. In keeping with this philosophy, RRDF and the physicians of The Retina Institute held its first Spring Retina Update in 2015. The course was designed for eye care professionals to learn about recent clinical advances in the diagnosis and management of eye diseases as well as advances in ophthalmic research. Optometrists, ophthalmologists and technicians all benefited from this educational opportunity.
The 5th Annual Spring Retina Update was held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at our new venue, the St. Luke’s Institute for Health Education, Emerson Auditorium located at 222 S. Woods Mill Road, Chesterfield, MO 63107.
Topics included common mimickers of AMD, modern approaches to posterior segment complications after cataract surgery, novel approaches to vitreomacular adhesions, and a look at future treatments.
Mark you calendar now; the 6th Annual Spring Retina Update has been scheduled for April 18, 2020. Details will be posted as they become available.
