Midwest Ophthalmologic Symposium

The Retina Institute in conjunction with the Retina Research & Development Foundation is pleased to present and sponsor The Midwest Ophthalmologic Symposium featuring The 41th Annual Visiting Professor Lecture Series. This live in-person conference will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2024 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Ritz-Carlton, 100 Carondelet Plaza, St. Louis. MO. 63105.

This year’s Visiting Professor will be Demetrios Vavvas, MD, PhD, Director of the Retina Service at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Harvard Medical School, Solman and Libe Friedman Professor of Ophthalmology.

Also joining the program will be Danielle Trief, MD, MSc, Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute, Columbia University Irving Medical Center and George J. Harocopos, MD - Professor of Ophthalmology and Pathology at Washington University School of Medicine.
